I’ve been wondering… how has this season been so far? For me, it’s been a month of exploration and moments that make me pause and smile.
This weekend, we had our first holiday market…it was bursting with color, laughter, and the kindest, most creative people.
Moments like that remind me why I do what I do. They make all the hours spent painting and dreaming in the studio feel even more meaningful.
Finding Creative Rhythm
Lately, I’ve been painting again. Slowly getting back on my creative groove and reconnecting with the simple joy of creating. It's a reminder to slow down, notice the details, and honor the beauty in process, not perfection.
And I can’t wait to share this new wave of creative exploration with you.
As I mentioned in my last note, I’ve been playing with little projects at home. Recently, I made a slipcover for my headboard - it was such a fun, satisfying project! I even experimented with our wraps as scarves, and it turned out to be such a playful, unexpected twist.
Finding Inspiration Everywhere
Even though the weather has been quite gloomy, I've been spending more time outside lately...trying to create my own sunshine.
And interestingly, inspiration has been showing up everywhere: in the tiniest sidewalk blooms, in the calm of museum halls, and even during a simple walk around my neighborhood that turned into a little creative treasure hunt.
It’s funny how beauty always finds you when your heart is open to seeing it.
And in the midst of all this, I’ve been so grateful to share our goods with the world…from the Homemade Community Shoppe in Chilliwack to Walrus Home in Vancouver.
I’m thrilled to say you can now find our pieces in local stores here in Canada (and hopefully near you sometime soon!).
